In my Soundtrap project, I used cutting, copying, pasting, and moving clips to organize my track and keep everything in time. It helped me line things up with the beat and build the structure of the song more easily. I also adjusted the volume of each track so no sound was too loud or too quiet, and used panning to spread different sounds left and right, which made the mix feel wider and more balanced. I added reverb to the vocals so they didn’t sound too dry and used a bit of EQ to clean up certain parts. One challenge I faced was getting all the clips to line up correctly, especially when loops didn’t fit the beat. I also struggled a bit with sounds overlapping too much. I fixed this by using EQ to clear space and by carefully adjusting volume levels. a tip that help me was listening to a reference song helped me figure out what a professional mix should sound like.
