Using sample loops in Soundtrap really helped bring my music project to life. The loop library made it easy to explore a wide range of sounds and genres, and I had fun previewing loops until I found ones that matched the vibe I was going for. Arranging them into the timeline felt like building a puzzle—each loop added texture and depth. One challenge was making the loops sound unique, so I started chopping, changing pitch, and layering them to create a more original sound.
One cool technique I discovered was blending a melodic loop with a drum loop that had a different rhythm—it gave the track a unique groove. It also helped me learn how to balance sounds and create smooth transitions between sections.
A song I think has an awesome sample is Kanye West – "Power" which samples "21st Century Schizoid Man" by King Crimson. It adds such a powerful, intense feel to the track!
