It helps a lot when it comes to moving other sound products around the beat. Sometimes I would want to put different music inside of my beat, but I didn't like the way it sounded combined. So, I would end up cutting and switches stuff around of my beat to make it sound the way I wanted it to sound. I also would cut out some beats just in case I didn't like the noise it made, I also lower and higher the volume depending on if I would want to make the beat stand out more or if I would want it to not stand out as much. Also, I would use the fade out or fade in to make the beat have entrance or an outrance. I would also try to find other beats that I can paste just in case I couldn't find the beat I wanted into my sound maker.
