Recap - Lesson 4

In Lesson 4, we explored five key audio effects: saturation, distortion, phase, chorus and flanger. Saturation adds harmonic warmth and character, emulating analog equipment, while distortion alters the signal to create more aggressive and gritty tones. Phase effects modify the timing of audio signals to create movement and depth, chorus duplicates and modulates the signal to enrich its sound and flanger duplicates one copy of a sound with a minimal time difference. Understanding these effects and their applications allows you to shape and enhance your audio creatively, adding texture and complexity to your mixes.
