Lesson 5 - Discussion Board

Pitch- is how high or low a sound is. High sounds can feel happy, and low ones can feel sad.

Melody- is the main tune of the song—the part you sing or hum.

Harmony- is when different notes play together to make the music sound fuller.

Rhythm- is the beat that keeps the song moving and makes you want to dance.

Timbre- is what makes each sound or instrument different, like how a drum sounds different from a flute.

Structure- is how the song is put together, like the order of the parts.
