      Objectives:
      1. In this lesson, we will learn the foundational concepts of social media marketing, understanding how businesses can leverage barious platforms to connect with and engage their audiences.

      2. Students will be able to Implement Call-to-action to “position” a message to a target audience.
      3. Students will be able to create a Content for our social media page.

      Developing content allows a business to communicate information about a brand, company, or idea using various multimedia sources.

      Keywords are essential in directing an audience to a funnel of a campaign.

      Targeting content to a specific audience is critical to creating an audience. So we will explore how we can apply this to our work.

      Essential Questions We Will Answer:

      • How is digital marketing advertising used in social media?
        How can you measure the results of a social media campaign?
        How can Keywords be valuable in Social Media?

      Creating a Digital Marketing Strategy

        • Target Audience: Using the EIBC League Magazine's demographic (players, parents, coaches, scouts, trainers, athletic directors), identify one group and describe how you would reach them through affiliate marketing campaigns within the magazine. 
        • Promotion Plan: Propose a promotion plan for one affiliate product that could be included in the magazine. Include:
        • 1. The type of product (e.g., basketball gear, sports nutrition, training tools).
        • 2. How the product will be featured (e.g., a written review, a video highlight, a podcast ad spot).
        • 3. Why it aligns with the magazine's goals and audience.
      • Deliverables

        • Submit the following:
          • A one-page document, Google Slide or Canva post with your responses to prompts 1–3.

        • Create 3-5 Google slides proposing a strategy for promoting the affiliate product in the magazine that you chose in your step 4 assignment:
          • Slide 1. Format: Specify whether it will be a written review, video highlight, podcast ad spot, or infographic.
          • Slide 2. Placement: Suggest where it will appear in the magazine (e.g., sidebar, full-page ad, embedded in an article).
          • Slide 3. Messaging: Develop a brief tagline or call-to-action for the product to capture attention and encourage engagement.
        • Slide 4-5: Explain why you chose the format, the placement, and the messaging. Submit below.
