The Video Production class is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of video production, through virtual instruction and career training.
This course takes a dual approach, providing students with theoretical and technical knowledge as well as real life experience, allowing them to implement their classroom knowledge during field experience opportunities.
Students will learn about the pre-production, production, and post-production process. The course will cover the technical aspects of camera operation, visual storytelling, and post production techniques. Students will be able to identify the roles on a film set and the responsibilities of each role. They will learn about different types of shots and the purpose of each shot. The course also covers the creative process, guiding students in making their own creative decisions through story boarding, shot listing, and writing.
